I might change it to 4 stars later, but as the story is spinning in my brain, it's getting 5.Simply a remarkable story, both in plot and its extraordinary characters. I was shocked multiple times as pieces fell together and new facts were revealed. It's a beautiful novel of friendship and the brutalities of war, of survival, hope, and so much more. It kind of made me cry. Just a wee bit. So, so good.
