Full review to comeI liked this one a lot. But I had my issues, it felt like this series never felt completely coherent. I loved the fact that Promised makes me think, it's definitely welcoming discussion. 'villains' are beautifully portrayed as morally sound yet twisted in their own way. Romance kind of lacking, plot dragged at times. The ending was all right. Characters were interesting, but sometimes a few too many minor ones. Like Angie, Jack, Will, etc. Certain parts made me queasy, that was well done. So it wasn't really what I was expecting but still a solid final installment. It never reclaimed the fire that Birthmarked had, IMO. 3.5/5
